Pure Dance Crew is a fun, friendly and high quality dance studio where your children will learn and perfect the art of dance. Our facility offers two spacious studios with state of the art flooring, wall to wall mirrors, change room, lobby and a large viewing window to see your children’s progress throughout the year. Our staff are fully certified, highly trained professionals who have worked all over the GTA.

A.J. LoPresti


​An award winning choreographer, teacher & adjudicator, A.J LoPresti has over 25 years of experience in the performing arts. A.J. studied at Sheridan Institute in the Musical Theatre Program and has trained in Tap, Jazz,Acrobatics, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Tribal, Swing, Lyrical, Fosse, Broadway and Contemporary.

A.J. had some exposure on So You Think You Can Dance Canada – Season 4, as he was part of the top 150 finalists. Check out on “Stumpy” on youtube. A.J. had the opportunity to dance in Disney’s movie “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” working alongside Ashley Tisdale and some of the other High School Musical celebrities. A.J. also had the opportunity to choreograph and perform in Stacey Kay’s music video “Island Girl”.

A.J. has performed in a number of shows in Toronto including Highschool Musical 2, the Canadian Premiere of Hey Marilyn and Panopticon, as well as Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, Anne of Green Gables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. A.J. has also been part of several high profile dance companies including; The Dance Concept, Black White and Acoustic and InDou Dance Works.

A.J. has won numerous awards and scholarships for his dancing including the title of Teen Mr. Dance Canada at the Dance Masters of America (DMA) pageant, and runner up at the National DMA pageant. He has taught at many studios all over the GTA specializing in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acro and Musical Theatre. A.J enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge with the future generation of dancers where his noted unique choreography has earned him and his students several awards.

Lauren LoPresti


Lauren LoPresti has been involved with the dance industry for over 15 years and has been teaching since the age of 17. Lauren has trained in many forms of dance including Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Improvisation and Ballroom. Lauren has completed a BA Honors Specialization degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. While studying there, Lauren was on the Huron Heat Dance Team and taught as the Hip Hop executive in 2011 and 2012. In addition to the Huron Heat dance team, she was a part of Hip Hop Western where she competed annually at the Ontario University Competition of Hip Hop.

Lauren has taught at various dance studios in London and the GTA. Lauren has choreographed for many Premiere events and for the German Opera “Strauss” under Theodore Baerg. Lauren has performed on stage for Alesso, danced in many CAISA Fashion shows and has appeared on an episode of Party Mama’s.

Now Lauren is completing her Masters of Manipulative Sciences in Osteopathic Manual Medicine in Hamilton while working at PDC. Lauren is excited to share her knowledge and experience with the future generation of dancers and can’t wait to see the progress her students make.

Ceilidh Carberry

Recreational Tap Instructor

Ceilidh has been dancing for 13 years, specializing in tap. She has received judge’s choice awards at competitions for “Colgate Smile” and “Smiles for Miles.” Some of her favourite moments dancing at PDC include having a tap group in the Kick It Up virtual finals two years ago, having a solo place 9th overall at the Ultra competition last year. Ceilidh is currently a grade twelve student at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts, taking both drama and dance. She plans to study performing arts in university next year. Ceilidh always enjoys dancing with her PDC family and is very excited to be a part of the teaching team this season.

Bianca Hare


Bianca began dancing at the tender age of 2 and has been dancing non-stop since then. Bianca grew a love for the competitive aspect since the young age of 4 and continues to dance competitively.  She has trained in multiple genres of dance, including: Jazz, Tap, RAD Ballet and Hip hop.  Bianca has a love for teaching children and a talent for highlighting the best in each of her students in her choreography. She feels dance is a way to escape and express herself and strives to instill a love for dance with her students.  She is honoured to be a part of the PDC dance staff again for the 2017-2018 season.


Stephanie Kokalovski


Stephanie Kokalovski is a proud dance educator who has been providing quality dance training and education in the GTA for well over 10 years. She is a graduate of the York University BFA Honors Dance program  specializing in Pedagogy ad Movement Analysis and an acceptant of the National Ballet School of Canada’s Teacher Training Program. Stephanie has trained extensively for close to two decades in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Fosse Jazz, and Hip Hop. Stephanie prides herself on being a well respected professional teacher holding qualifications with the Associated Dance Arts for professional Teachers (ADAPT), Acrobatic Arts, Cecchetti Society of Canada (CSC), the Limón Modern Technique, Acrobatique, The British Association of Tacher’s of Dancing (BATD), High Five Quality at Play: Healthy Child Development, and the Professional Adjudicators Alliance (PAA). Stephanie is a true believer that continued education only enhances her ability to provide quality dance training and this is why she also utilizes her tools as a certified barre fitness instructor by Total Barre and Barreworks, and her training in STOTT Pilates. Stephanie has performed professionally across Ontario and has been part of the competitive dance industry throughout Canada and the Unite States. Some performances include the Motionball Charity Gala for the Special Olympics, The Alzheimer’s Society Walk for Memories at Roy Thompson Hall, “The Best of Broadway in
Concert” tour, Upstaging Cancer, Mayor’s Galas throughout the GTA, events for the Canadian Cancer Society (Relay for Life), JB Productions – York University, Real Music Media – “Rebel Rebel” Music Video, and various shows with Steppin’ Out Theatrical Productions (The Pajama Game, Cabaret).

Stephanie’s true passion is for dance teaching and education. Her students have achieved top honors in their examinations, performances, and have gone on to dance professionally at both post secondary institutions and pre-professional study programs across Canada and the United States (York University, Ryerson University, Julliard Summer School, and The National Ballet School of Canada). Her work has received many choreography and special awards, making her a respected member of the dance community. She has worked with TD Canada Trust choreographing pieces for their Gala’s and Flashmob choreography for their company events. She also works within the school board providing dance workshops and unit lessons to their students. Stephanie has had the opportunity to train and work closely with dance artists and educators from all over Canada and the United States, some of which include John Ottman (National Ballet of Canada), Elisabeth Leyds-Holms (National Ballet School of Canada), Patrick Parson (Ballet Creole), Helen Jones (Toronto Dance Theatre), and Donna Krasnow (York University and The Limón Institute NYC). Stephanie is looking forward to working with the dancers at Pure Dance Crew and wishes everyone a wonderful year full of happiness and dancing!

Kayla Paciocco


Kayla has been dancing for over 13 years now and has been competing for 11 years. She has trained in a multitude of styles ranging from tap to ballet but trains extensively in jazz and lyrical. She is currently completing her RAD training and going into the Intermediate Level of of the RAD ballet exams.

Since the age of 5, Kayla has been training as a highly competitive and successful competition dancer. She has been awarded numerous judges awards, overalls and scholarships due to her captivating performances in lyrical and in other styles. She has been invited to workshops such as Fresh and Captivate due to scholarships she was awarded in competitions. However successful she has been at competitions, Kayla has also been accomplished outside of her home studio. At a young age she performed in the Toronto Argonaut half time show with her studio,

She competed at school talent shows with her solos from the dance season and also was accepted and completed a full term of dancing in the Associates Program for the National Ballet School of Canada.

Kayla strives for perfection within herself and in her students and wants to work and motivate them to help get to their own personal goals. She has learned a multitude of lessons while being in the industry and is hoping to share them with her students as well as grow their love for the art with Drive, Commitment and Passion.
